Job Description

We are looking for an individual with positive and outgoing personality who are willing to take up our accounting position.
Your responsibilites include but not limited to the following:
- Reports directly to Director and Group Financial Controller.
- Responsible for full set of accounts, yearly tax computation and consolidation for the company and related companies.
- Responsible for daily settlements and preparing bank reconciliation, including month-end journal entries preparation.
- Responsible for accounting and reconcilliation for any withholding tax and local tax such as GST (where applicable).
- Prepare and submit relevant government grant applications.
- Prepare invoices, cheques and handle petty cash.
- Prepare and submit monthly finanical reports.
- Prepare and submit yearly financial reports to the relevant authorities.
- Submit annual IR8A and IR21 for foreign employee to IRAS.
- Responsible for bookkeeping.
- May be required to assist with other administrative duties.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and audit experience.
- Proficient in Moneyworks accounting software, Numbers and Microsoft Excel.
- Highly responsible, organized and able to multi-task and work independently.
- Fresh graduates may apply but accounting experience background will be an added advantage.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Actual monthly remuneration will depend on accounting experience and background of applicant.
- Successful applicant may be asked to sign a 3-month contract before signing a permanent contract based on performance.
