Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations and contribute to the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial success. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by ensuring accurate financial records, providing insightful analysis, and contributing to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare and analysis financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide meaningful insights to the management team.
  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts and preparing necessary journal entries.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare quarterly GST report and submission.
  • Prepare audit schedules or balance sheet reconciliation to ensure items are clear off on timely basis.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department and implement best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering their professional development.

Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines consistently.
  • Leadership skills with a track record of effectively managing teams and collaborating across departments.
  • High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong in Excel and Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central accounting software.
