• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure a smooth closing of accounts and timely reporting of financials
• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing functions for companies managed in Singapore
• Prepare monthly schedules and management reports
• Perform general ledger posting and work closely with intercompany partners on intercompany reconciliation and rebilling
• Assist in preparation of statutory reporting and regulatory statistical/surveys submission
• Ensure that company policies, internal control procedures, tax and GST regulations and accounting standards are complied with
• Assist in foreign currency budgetary requirement forecasting
• Liaise with external and internal auditors as and when relevant
• Provide support in process and system enhancements
• Perform accounting and other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Degree with more than 5 years relevant work experience as Financial Accountant or similar role
• Experience in oil and gas/shipping industry is a plus
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player
