The position is a permanent opportunity. The preferred location for the position is in Pandan Crescent, Singapore.What will you be doing;As Accountant, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Proactively prepare and support company level reporting, according to W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 Corporation accounting manual, guidelines and local accounting requirements.
• Daily and/or weekly activities related to Financial Statutory Accounting Services:

• follow-up Accounts Payable monitoring tasks;
• pre-check payment batches;
• cash flow monitoring;
• liaise with bankers for any banking issues.
• Period end closing activities on company level in SAP and HFM including General ledger postings, e.g. payroll, accruals, corrections, clearing.
• Assist in external and internal auditing of the company.
• Support in indirect taxes declaration.
• Support in the internal controls related tasks.
• Support WSSC/FSAS\'s project & activities by working together closely with other colleagues in the Group relate to account payables, payments, travel and vendor master data etc.

• Good financial statutory accounting knowledge.
• Accounting taxation & taxation laws.
• 3 to 5 years of work experience in financial accounting and taxation role.
• Systematic, independent and organised way of working and a positive attitude.
• Strong teamwork and good communication skills, including written and spoken English.
• Diploma/Bachelor\'s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field is a must.
• If you are familiar with SAP, it is seen as an added advantage.
