We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team, specializing in Billing, Accounts Receivable, Financial and Management Reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to handle high volumes and diverse billing requirements while ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial and GST regulations. This role also encompasses other responsibilities such as month-end closing, project accounting, intercompany transactions and reconciliation, audit and tax, internal and external audit.Responsibilities:

• Issue accurate and timely invoices to customers, in compliance with GST regulations and contract terms.
• Follow-up and resolve any billing discrepancies and issues with stakeholders, reconcile and close out open items.
• Monitor accounts receivable, follow-up on overdue accounts, update daily collections report and posting of collections in SAP.
• Assist in the month-end closing process, prepare journals, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded in compliance with Singapore FRS and Group Policy.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare monthly and yearly financial and management reporting package and schedules, including statistical analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Track revenue related documents such as contracts, create client and hub codes, post invoices and revenue journals in the project management system.
• Follow-up on timesheets for accurate revenue reporting.
• Post intercompany receivable and payable invoices in the SAP system.
• Manage intercompany reconciliation and liaise with auditors for year-end audits and prepare the audit schedules.
• Support corporate tax schedules preparation and quarterly GST returns to ensure statutory compliance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, internal policies and procedures and external requirements in area of responsibilities.
• Ensure compliance for internal audits in the internal controls and processes in area of responsibilities.
• Perform ad-hoc assignment as required and assist in process improvement and system implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in Billing, Accounts Receivable and Reporting functions.
• Ability to handle high volumes and diverse billing requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Experience in the consulting industry would be advantageous.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. SAP knowledge will be a bonus.
• Initiative, attention to details, high level of accuracy, analytical, able to meet deadlines and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with various level from internal and external stakeholders.
