The Accountant will assist the SVP, Finance in managing the accounting records, process transactions, analyze financial data and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations. The main responsibilities of the Accountant will include the following: \xef\x82\xb7 Manage several full set of accounts (AR, AP, GL) including reconciliation and preparation of schedules; \xef\x82\xb7 Perform daily accounting & finance duties such as invoice and payment processing and preparation of payment vouchers; \xef\x82\xb7 Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting (Month-end and year-end close) and preparation of monthly management account for budget variance analysis; \xef\x82\xb7 Assist in AR Monitoring and collection \xef\x82\xb7 Preparation of statutory financial reports in accordance with Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore \xef\x82\xb7 Preparing the necessary reports and documentation for periodical financial reporting to stakeholders, including donors, governmental bodies, and program managers \xef\x82\xb7 Handle Corporate Tax including filing of returns and liaising with tax agent / IRAS \xef\x82\xb7 Assist and support audit process (statutory and other external audits, as required) \xef\x82\xb7 Continuosly review existing processes to optimize and improve efficiency while ensuring robust internal controls across all funds. \xef\x82\xb7 Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job requirements: \xef\x82\xb7 Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, preferably CA; \xef\x82\xb7 Minimum 3-4 years experience in accounting and financial reporting. Must have experience in handling full-set of
accounts; \xef\x82\xb7 Experience in handling full set of accounts; \xef\x82\xb7 Proficient in MS Office especially Excel (Pivot table, Vlookup and Sumif formulae); \xef\x82\xb7 Meticulous, organised and good attention to details; \xef\x82\xb7 Ability to act independently and execute sound judgment; \xef\x82\xb7 Able to work independently and possesses strong analytical and interpersonal skills; \xef\x82\xb7 Team player who is hands-on, meticulous, willing to learn and work beyond job -scope when necessary; \xef\x82\xb7 Experience working and or had exposure with an International company is a plus factor; \xef\x82\xb7 Experience with Quickbooks would be advantageous.
