Our Client is a global leader in supply chain solutions serving companies across multiple industries.
Responsibilities
We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for an Accountant to be responsible for General Ledger functions, reporting and other accounting and finance functions within the organization.
Lead month-end closing and preparation of management and other internal reports;- Ensure that General Ledger entries are in order;
- Oversee the GST reports and codes;
- Oversee business activities and internal project spending;
- Interface with cross functional business units, providing insights on performance;
- Ensure overall financial compliance to reporting standards and company policies;
- Support budgeting, planning and forecasting activities;
- Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory, and ensure they are reconciled;
- Prepare and update fixed assets;
- Liaise with external parties as needed;
- Perform other ad-hoc accounting or finance related tasks.
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy, Accounting & Finance or relevant qualification;
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, handling high volume journal entries;
- Experience using SAP;
- Strong detail-orientation and sense of responsibility and accountability;
- Good communication skills and ability to communicate with different parties and stakeholders.
