Job Description
Job Scope
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management
- Responsible for accounting process and tasks, i.e AR & AP process, GL, bank reconciliation, inter-company reconciliation etc. This role requires extensive treasury function.
- Preparation of schedules and reports
- Preparation of GST/VAT for submission to local requirements (including overseas)
- Statutory audit experience and knowledge of preparation of annual financial statements
- Other finance and accounting activities as assigned.
- Regular communications with overseas counterpart required (able to take evening calls)
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications (ACCA)
- Minimum 4 years full set of accounts experience, candidates returning to workforce are welcome to apply.
- Ability to work independently and deadline oriented
- Knowledge of forex accounting is a must
- Meticulous, possess good interpersonal skills and a team player
- Proficient with MS Office especially Excel such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Table
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, Quickbooks
Working Hours and Location 5-day work week, hybrid working arrangement. Office in town
