Job Description
- Position : Accountant - Up to $4,500 - Near Bugis MRT
- Location : Beach Road - Near Bugis MRT
- Working hours : 5 Days Work Week - Monday to Friday: 9.00AM to 5.45PM
- Salary (commensurate with experience) : Up to $4,500 + Performance Bonus + 14 Days
- Duration : Perm
- Industry : Tyres
- Perform accounts payable reconciliation between supplier statements, AP aging, AP accruals and open purchase orders.
- Validate and process vendor invoices on a timely basis
- Review accounts payable entries and recurring GL entries to ensure that they are coded to the proper cost center or GL accounts
- Prepare and perform various journal entries to maintain the account books if necessary.
- Assist with month end / reporting processes, such as balance sheet reconciliations
- Extract invoices from system and reconcile cash receipts
- Assist in internal and external audit requests and requirements.
- Support on new processes and system implementation when required.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Minimum Degree in Finance or Accounting and/or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience, with audit experience is an added advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experienced in Oracle R12 preferred
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
- Willing to work flexible hours at times to liaise or attend meetings with US team
