Our client is a leading specialist contractor in the building construction industry.
About the role:
Oversee the financial and statutory accounting for the assigned entity.
Prepare monthly financial reports, including asset accounting, journal entry creation, account reconciliation, and year-end financial statements.
Analyze work-in-progress (WIP) and offer recommendations on project profitability and cost optimization.
Calculate key financial metrics and conduct trend analyses of financial data.
Participate in the development of group budgets and forecasts.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely filing.
Manage tax-related responsibilities, including quarterly GST submissions and corporate tax filings.
Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed, which may include reviewing policies and procedures.
About you:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry and 2 years of consolidation experience at Group Level.
Proficient in MS Office applications.
Familiarity with SAP system.
Detail-oriented
Capable fo working independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
