Job Description


Accounting duties:-

  • Assist in the data entry for accounting transactions and bank reconciliations under the supervision of Accounts Seniors from time to time.
  • Preparation of GST schedules and submission
  • Preparation of unaudited financial statements

Corporate Finance duties:-
  • Assist clients in conducting research and financial due diligence on investment opportunities across various asset classes including private equity, venture capital and real estate
  • Assist in Merger and Acquisition (M&A) deals
  • Facilitate the sale of shell companies
  • Solicit purchase of franchise operation
  • Company and Personal Loans Financing
  • Corporate bank account openings
  • Provide financial advice to private and corporate clients to set up suitable investments entities (incl. Fund Management Companies, Family Offices and VCCs)
  • Assist in application of financial grants/loans, in line with current government policies from statutory boards like MAS/EDB etc
  • Assist in preparation of internal investment memos including but not limited to:
~ Industry analysis ~ Competitive benchmarking between comparable companies ~ Present and participate in investment team meetings ~ Analysing potential exit opportunities via trade sale or M&A ~ Research & Analysis of new business plans ~ Participating in the preparation of M&A documents for sell-side and buy- side transactions (incl. Commercial Proposal, Information Memorandum, Project Teaser, Non-Disclosure Agreement and Referral Agreement)

Requirements:-
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance or Economics with some knowledge in accountancy preferred.
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (to competently engage with Chinese-speaking clients)
  • The position is convertible to full time if the candidate performs well
  • Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
  • Willing to learn, hardworking, independent, self-driven and able to work under pressure
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm or 10am – 7pm (Flexi-time and work days as per TAFEP’s flexible Work Arrangement)
  • Training will be provided
