It was first established in 2008 with ten employees and a 38,000 square foot space. Today, we have grown to an employee strength of more than 1,700, expanded to more than 10 times the original space, with manufacturing output contributing to 50% of Illuminas global topline revenue.The Accounting Analyst will play an integral role in the Specialized Accounting team. You will directly manage specialized accounting processes in areas such as Fixed Assets, Payroll, Cash Accounting and/or Intercompany for the APAC region. You will be involved in working through issues and driving process improvements in collaboration with other finance and cross-functional team members. In addition, as Illumina continues to grow globally into new and existing markets, you may have the opportunity to participate in business expansion initiatives and other strategic projects.This is a one-year contract position.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesJob duties:

• Manage one or more functional accounting processes for entities in the Asia Pacific region, such as fixed assets, payroll, cash accounting and/or intercompany
• Manage operational and month end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, analytical reviews and associated reporting for US GAAP
• Partner with teammates, global and cross-functional stakeholders to establish a cadence for reviews and collaboration
• Participate in quarterly reviews, annual audits, and project testing for applicable areas of ownership
• Perform other general accounting duties as designated from time to time, which may include but not limited to financial closing, reporting, analytical reviews and statutory audits.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance. Chartered Accountant/ CPA is a plus.
• Accounting/finance experience in MNCs and/or public accounting firms
• Minimum 3 years of related experience for Accounting Analyst; candidates with less than 3 years of experience or fresh graduates will be considered for Associate Accounting Analyst
• Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel
• Experienced in SAP
• Resourceful, good organizational skills, detail-oriented
• Comfortable to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to communicate (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to work and collaborate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders
