Job Description

JOB SCOPE & PURPOSE: Report and assist the Team Head of Financial Reporting & Tax in ensuring all MIS/Financial reporting is in compliance with the Singapore/International Financial Reporting Standards.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1.Financial Analysis

• Prepare/review/analyse the Financial Management Reports
  

(a) Daily/ Weekly

• Review Nostro Reconciliation and ensure promptly follow-up action to resolve un- reconciling items
  

(b) Monthly

• Variances Analysis of Bankwide BS, IS and OPEX.(Preparer)
• Preparation of CPM File - Loans, Deposits and Fees and upload of internal pricing entries to SAP by 2nd business day
• Preparation Financial Performance for Management and FICON on monthly and quarterly basis as required by Business
• To assist to prepare the monthly Branch Meeting slides and commentaries
• Assist to prepare and track the Business Units performance versus the Budget/Plan, and advise accordingly on each unit performance to the Chief Executive Officer of the Branch
• Prepare the reconciliation from local book to performance book
• Prepare CB and bank-wide loan and deposit balances regularly for submission to HO
• To work closely with relevant stakeholders and Business partner to Business Units by providing value-added inputs and advises
  

(c) Quarterly

• To assist to prepare the Conferencing slides for HO FICON-Quarterly basis of Business Strategies, Variances analysis of Key Financial Ratios/Financial Drivers, International Financial Reporting Standards and Tax related updates
  

(d) Yearly

• To assist in the preparation of the annual Financial Statements
• To assist in the Yearly Budget and 5-years forecast
• To assist in the Year-end Audit, Internal & HO Auditors

2. To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the superior from time to time

3. Assist in other ad-hoc projects that are driven by Finance & Accounting Department

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Excellent Financial Accounting Skills (Chartered Accountant Singapore)
• Knowledge and understanding of banking products and their accounting treatments.
• Management accounting skills, incorporating cost and profitability analysis.
• Knowledge and understanding of the SAP and FCC Systems.
• Knowledge and understanding of Regulatory, Financial Reporting Standards, internal management reporting requirements and Singapore Income Tax Implication.
• PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Powerpoint.
• Excellent communication skills
