Performs the accounting functions to support and assist the Accounting In-Charge with respect to various routines in business accounting and bookkeeping responsibilities.
Supports and assists the processing of monthly payroll, general ledgers, journal entries, expense, sales and/or income, tax, and cash flow, as well as internal auditing, financial reporting, and maintaining of accounting records.
Facilitates documentation for approval and disbursement of payments
Ensures timely payout of all payables
Monitoring, facilitating and accurate reporting of routine/non-routine transactions including SSS, BIR, BOI, DOH, PEZA, Local Business Registration, Permits, Licenses, Clearances, Accreditations Insurances, Renewals, Year-End Inventory, Registration of Books, Sales, Equipment & Machineries, etc.
Maintains complete and accurate accounting record and files
Prepares and submits on time all mandatory Government reports pertaining to payroll and benefits
The Accounting Assistant must be a College graduate with a degree in Accountancy
Should have at least 1-2 years relevant experience
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications
Able to work in a dynamic team and stressful situations
