Job Description
We're looking for a self-motivated Accounting Assistant with strong multitasking, communication, and time management abilities. The Accounting Assistant will assist the Accounting department in clerical tasks.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares PSA/NSO report.
- Issues Service invoices for billing purposes as well as Official Receipts upon collection.
- Acts as Petty Cash Custodian to include disbursement of petty cash and replenish of fund.
- Prepares BIR monthly filling on compensation, expanded and final tax of SPC affiliates (1601C and 1601E).
- Prepares check for SPC affiliates disbursements.
- Handles incoming checks from SPC-Cebu, PDPP, BDPP, BLCI and BWUI.
- Preparation of Standby letters of credit/bid security/performance security for existing and new projects and for bidding purposes.
- Renewals of Standby letter of credit.
- Checking of overtime claims.
- Performs other functions as may be directed by Management.
- Graduate of Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- 2 - 3 years of related experience in accounting
- Familiarity with basic accounting principles
- Familiarity with BIR, SEC, etc.
