Job Description

:

  • Key in or type up any documents or items that the accounting department is responsible for, including checks and invoices, as well as vouchers, accounting statements, and other reports and records
  • Preparation of reports such as but not limited to, accounts receivable, inventory transactions, fixed asset transactions, accounts payable, sales, expenses and payroll
  • Match work orders to invoices
  • Process invoices/bills so that they can be paid
  • Collect and sort invoices and checks
  • Keep a thorough record of business transactions and enter data from daily work logs into the company's general ledger system
  • Support supervisory and executive staff by performing any assigned accounting and clerical tasks
  • Contact clients to notify them of delinquent accounts and accept any payments made at the time of contact
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding payment schedules, discrepancy in billing invoices, account reconciliations and documentation requests
  • Assist senior accounting personnel with preparation of tax returns, schedules and reports for filing and submission with BIR, including any other tasks conducted within the accounting department, or any tasks that require accounting personnel to take part
  • Execute other duties that may arise from time to time as may be assigned
Qualifications:
  • A graduate of Bachelor's Degree, preferably in the areas of Accountancy/Accounting Management/ Financial Management
  • With at least 1 to 2 years
  • Has basic accounting knowledge
  • Computer literate with expertise in using MS Office applications
  • Must be willing to continuously learn and keep oneself informed about the latest developments in the field of accounting and taxation
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and keen to details
  • Well-rounded business judgment to recognize and respond to cross-department needs
  • Able to prioritize, work under pressure, meet deadlines and drive others
  • Must be willing to do fieldwork and visit different government offices, when necessary
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: Php18,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per monthBenefits:
