Our Client:
Our client is a Japanese accounting firm, they are actively looking to hire an Accounting Consultant/Senior Consultant to join their team.
The Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping, consolidation, and preparation of FS
- Preparation of monthly financial statements and other accounting documents (e.g. audit schedules, bank reconciliation, etc.)
- Quarterly GST returns and yearly corporate tax provisions
- Audit support for financial year end closing
- Other bookkeeping, accounting, and related projects and/or matters as and when requested
- Other ad hoc, administrative, and related matters as and when requested
- Minimum 2 years in accounting or audit
- Highly self-motivated and with initiative
- Able to work well with team members
- Ability to speak, read, and write in Japanese (JLPT 2 equivalent) to be able to liaise effectively with native Japanese-speaking stakeholders
