This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in accounting within a dynamic agency setting. The Accounting Intern will assist with financial record keeping, perform data entry, and support the finance department in daily accounting tasks.Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Support the accounts payable and receivable processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry and help maintain financial records.
• Assist with month-end financial reporting and other accounting projects.
• Help reconcile bank statements and track company expenses.
• Support the preparation of tax documents and compliance filings.
• Collaborate with team members on ad hoc finance projects and audits.

Required Skills

• Current enrollment in an accredited university, pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
• Strong numerical proficiency and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Good organisational and time-management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role through internships or part-time jobs.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in financial systems.
