Job Title: Accounting Intern
Job Level: Internship
Department: Accounting Department
Location: Kramat Lane, Singapore
Allowance: $1,000/month
Working days: 5 days a week
Overall Job Objectives: The Accounting Intern will assist the finance and accounting team in various day-to-day operations. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience with accounting tasks, financial analysis, and compliance-related activities, offering an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a professional setting.
THE JOB:

• Data entry work to accounting software
• To handle phone calls and enquiries
• Assist with the preparation and reconciliation of financial statements and reports
• Handle administrative work
• Participate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
• Manage AR, AP, sales & receipts and reconcile bank statements with the guidance of Accountant
• Generate payment vouchers and issue cheques
• Perform other responsibilities and tasks as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Relevant educational qualifications in accounting
• Knowledge of accounting
• PC literate, proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Good data entry
• Meticulous and detail-oriented with accuracy
• Able to commit for 6 months at least

Key Deliverables:

• Accurate and timely entry of financial data.
• Completed bank and account reconciliations with discrepancies resolved.
• Properly recorded and organized invoices and payment records.
• Financial reports prepared and submitted within the agreed timelines.
• Compliance documentation completed and audit readiness maintained.
• Budget monitoring and cost variance insights shared with the team.
• Contributions to special projects completed successfully.
