Our Client: Automotive Industry Location: Bugis Working Days: 5 days

Job Scope:

• Reporting to Group Corporate Accounting Senior Manager
• Manage and supervise accounting team in Singapore on day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Manage month end closing activities, ensure deadlines are met.
• Perform review of entities\' accounting transactions
• Perform review of vendor payments
• Assist in financial and management reporting.
• Perform review of balance sheet reconciliation
• Assist in periodic rolling forecasting and budgeting preparation.
• Perform review of tax accounting (direct / indirect)
• Perform ad hoc reports and business analysis as needed.
• Assist entity finance and operation teams in all accounting related matters.
• Be the key accounting contact for external and internal audit.
• Be the key contributor for accounting process improvement and internal control procedures.

Job Requirement:

• Min Degree from a recognised institution or/and professional certificate
• At least 5-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in related fields.
• Well equipped with accounting technical skills, including knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective problem-solving to identify and correct financial discrepancies.
• Adequate IT knowledge and application of accounting software, e.g., Oracle (any ERP)/WMS/Hyperion/Essbase, application and data interface
• Written and verbal communication skills to share accounting information when needed.
• Able to lead accounting team.
• Proficient in speaking/writing English & Mandarin
• Computer literacy, MS Excel (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
• High degree of accuracy and attentive to details
• Organised, meticulous and sensitive to anomalises in processing transactions.
• Open minded and team player
• Able to travel as required.
