Pilmico is the integrated agribusiness and food company of Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. (AEV). Comprised of four divisions: Flour, Feeds, Farms, and Trading, Pilmico has been well positioned at the beginning of the value chain.


The Accounting Manager is responsible for all the financial matters of the entity under his/her in-charge. This includes the review and preparation of the financial statements, budget and forecast. He/She will also be responsible for the tax related matters, such as Corporate Income Tax, GST and Transfer pricing. He/She will be managing the cash-flow of the entities, and support the preparation of the remittance document where necessary. This position will also support the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in generating management reports for the Agribusiness. He/she will provide insight analytical reports to the management team for business decision. In addition, this role will support the review process of the Vietnam business, including the review of the financial, control environment, and follow-up on the implementation of the Group policies in Vietnam.

• Oversee all of the financial reporting of the entities assigned
• Review and ensure timely submission of the monthly financials, for group report purpose
• Coordinate and organized the Budget and Forecast of the entities; this includes all the manpower, capex and working capital requirement.
• Check and review all the payment transactions of the entities in charge
• Roll-out group policies in the area of Treasury, Accounting and any finance related area
• Ensure compliance of all statutory deadline, including tax filing, and any other statutory statistics submission
• Coordinate with external and internal auditors to ensure timely completion of each assignment
• Prepare management report in support of the FP&A team’s requirement
• Participate in the review of the Vietnam entities financials and follow-up on the action items
• Ability to work collaboratively across departmental functions including strong communications with applicable business partners
• Other duties and special projects as may be required

• Required: Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• Desirable: Professional Qualification ACCA, CPA, CA equivalent
• 5 years of working experience (at least 2 years of Big 4 audit experience preferred)
• Knowledge of Vietnam and Singapore Financial Reporting requirement a plus
• Strong knowledge of International GAAP and understanding of financial statements
• Hands on experience with ERP software
• Advantageous to have SOX and ERP implementation experience
• Highly organized with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a very fast-paced, challenging environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills
