Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of professional staff
• Mentor/guide subordinates in technical matters
• Provide accounting and bookkeeping services, including preparation of tax invoices, management accounts, schedules, reconciliations, payroll and GST returns
• Prepare applicable forms and supporting documents for compliance reporting requirements to ACRA, IRAS, CPF and company shareholders
• Review management accounts, customized reporting packages, statutory accounts, GST returns, monthly payroll and other expense disbursements, as well as year-end remuneration returns
• Manage a portfolio of clients independently
• Ensure that all reporting and compliance deadlines are met
• Assist in new processes and system implementation
• Liaise with clients, auditors, directors and government agencies
• Collaborate with other functions within the company and across offices in other countries to ensure service delivery excellence

• Degree in Accountancy, ISCA, ACCA or other equivalent professional qualifications
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
• Knowledge of accounting standards and the ability to translate this to practice
• Knowledge of Singapore Tax, GST, CPF, filing requirements
• Meticulous and organised
• Analytical and communicative
• Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office, SharePoint and DocuSign, familiarity with Xero and QuickBooks is an advantage
