Job Description

This role is based in Singapore and is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of financial closing and reporting requirements for Singapore and Malaysia entities.
The role works closely with Global Shared Services in managing key processes primarily Account to Report (A2R – accounting to reporting) and Procure to Pay (PTP-purchase to payment). As A2R activities are outsourced to TCS Mexico and PTP are centralized in India PTP Hub
Responsibilities:

• Work closely with A2R Shared Service team in Mexico. Monitor month-end-closing and balance sheet review post MEC. 100% own trial balance and ensure monthly financial statement are closed in an accurate and timely manner. Implementation of Global A2R tools and standardization of A2R processes.
• Work closely with P2P in-house Shared Service team in India. Assist in local communication and coordination.
• Perform Inventory and costing related activities, such as participation of stocktaking, stock adjustment, annual standard cost updating, etc.
• Prepare reports to meet compliance requirements and submissions for statutory and governmental regulations
• Responsible for annual audit process and timely signing of audited financial statements
• Responsible for all tax compliance matter and timely filing of tax returns
• Responsible for other stuff which are not transferred to Shared Service Center.
• Considerable skills in internal controls function to minimize risks and protect assets, ensure accuracy of records, promote operational efficiency, and encourage adherence to policies, rules, regulations, and laws.
• Provide brief and coaching to subordinate in Malaysia.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, CPA is a must.
• 10+ years of related work experience in multi-national companies, ideally who has worked in Shared Service Center environment.
• SAP experience is a must. Proficient in GL, AP module.
• Auditor experience is a plus.
• Independent, assertive and able to multi-task and prioritize commitments
• Ability to work in an ever growing global environment with cross boarder travel requirements;
• Preferably able to start work within short notice
