As part of this MH Asia Pacific region, this position in the regional office is responsible for: Accounting and financial analyses in accordance with company policies, for MHAP regional office Internal and External financial reporting Regional Administrator for travel & entertainment management system (Concur T&E) Accounts Payable and Account Receivable portfolios This position will be responsible for driving excellence and adding value to processes, building efficiencies, providing regional support while complying with all necessary regulations and controls. Main Responsibilities Responsible for accounting and financial analyses in accordance with company policies for MHAP. This will include all related accounting aspects of the financial services function which may include tax, treasury, and credit. This role also involves building the budget (P&L and Balance Sheet) during the budget periods. Responsible for the internal and external financial reporting function and implementation of company policies for MHAP in accordance with local and Group accounting standards and IFRS Review and supervise annual accounts for external audits of MHAP in accordance with statutory and group requirements and to liaise with external auditors as necessary including the supervision and provision of audit schedules and combined reporting packages. Manage general accounting and reporting Policies & Procedures for the local entities and for the region including analyses and reconciliation of accounts Responsible for the Trade accounts Payable and Trade Accounts Receivable portfolios Responsible for Concur T&E (Travel and Entertainment expense management system). Regional Administrator role for the MH Asia Oceania + Japan entities. Actively address queries and requests by the entities in the region, including providing advice or training whenever required. Ensure that the MH core model of the system is respected. Liaison with both Concur Support and MH Central team in France whenever required. Maintaining accounting master data Responsible for period end close activities and local and regional consolidations Key Selection Criteria Holds a university degree in accountancy/commerce/business and/or a recognized professional accounting qualification Possess 5-6 years of accounting experience, with 1-2 years of managerial experience, preferably with experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm and/or MNCs in an accounting, financial analysis, tax capacity Solid knowledge of IFRS, and local GAAP & Taxation rules Good understanding of SG/HK corporate accounting requirements Proficient in using Accounting systems in a multi-currency integrated environment. Versed in accounting reporting systems and tools, such as SAP, Concur Strong focus/interest on digital technology for financial processes. Proficient in English. Other local languages of Asia Pacific is an asset. Good oral and written communication Self-starter and independent, with a continuous improvement mindset and a team player Able to work under pressure, and adapt quickly to changing environments, e.g. new reporting tools, emerging accounting standards, corporate governance, risk management Able to find win-win solutions with stakeholders without compromising on key company processes and standards Strong analytical and persuasive skills Have commercial sense
