In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various accounting functions, including statutory audits, government reporting, tax filing, and other related tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and tax regulations, as well as excellent analytical and leadership skills.Our TeamOur team focuses on international accounting & tax operation, and we are supporting over 50 entities across Asian countries.What You Will DoStatutory Audit:

• Prepare and coordinate all aspects of statutory reporting.
• Support the audit process by providing accurate and timely data, investigating transactions, and providing necessary supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and assist in implementing any required improvements.

Government Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation and submission of statistics reports and government surveys.
• Review reports and surveys prepared by team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Interface with government agencies to address any audit or query related to government reporting.

Tax Filing and Compliance:

• Prepare, review, and file various tax returns, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT, stamp tax, and other taxes.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Perform tax accounting reconciliations and collaborate with the tax advisory team to optimize tax planning opportunities.
• Manage VAT refund processes and oversee withholding tax filings, government applications, registrations, and non-trade payments.

Financial Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify areas of improvement and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.

Team Supervision and Development:

• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support their professional growth.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and cross-functionally.
• Cooperate with Transformation Leader on developing team members\' new technology skill.

Compliance and Audit:

• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth audits and address any audit findings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting, tax, and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to protect company assets and ensure data integrity.

Transformation and Process Improvement:

• Support any transformation initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the accounting function.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on statutory audits, government reporting, and tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Experience in managing and supervising a team of accounting professionals.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Highly potential to manage one growing team.
