Position Purpose:We are looking for an Accounting and Office Administrator to keep our business operations running smoothly. Beyond being in charge of accounting and administrative functions, you'll also have the opportunity to help shape the way we run our office.Responsibilities:
  • Accounting:
  • Conduct accounting and bookkeeping functions
  • Manage accounts receivables, accounts payables, and payroll processing
  • Handle monthly and quarterly tax filings and assist in annual tax filings
  • Process and monitor bank transactions
  • Compliance with regulatory and bank requirements
  • Maintain records and filing systems and handle correspondences
  • Other related accounting functions and banking-related activities
  • Office Administration:
  • Welcome clients and visitors
  • Manage emails, letters, packages, phone calls and other forms of correspondence
  • Organize meetings and appointments and coordinate office activities
  • Submit reports and prepare presentations/proposals
  • Procure and manage office supplies and marketing materials
  • Ad hoc responsibilities including assistance to colleagues whenever necessary
Experience:
  • 3 years of experience in accounting and office administration
  • Experience in use of accounting software(s) would be an advantage, especially Xero
Skills:
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Handling confidential information
  • Familiarity with common procedures and basic accounting principles MS Office, Google Workspace, and other office management tools and applications
  • Proficient in online research
Education:
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent fields preferred, but not required
