Job Description
The Accounting Assistant is responsible for assisting our Finance Manager with preparing budgets and records. They may also send invoices and ensure all transactions have been accounted accurately and on time. They often help lighten or lessen the workload of Finance Manager, taking care of more minor tasks.:
- Checks and analyzes billing invoices, statement of account, aging of receivables, and lapsing schedules.
- Checks petty cash vouchers, bank checks and debit memos
- Checks official receipts, deposit slips and check payments
- Responsible for the cost centering of accounts and expenses
- Prepares and checks monthly government requirements as required by the BIR, SSS, Philhealth and Pagibig, and ensures timely payment
- Career Level: 2 - 3 Years Experienced Employee
- Job Specializations: Accounting/Finance, General/Cost Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field
