The Company Opportunity to join an established market leader specializing the in manufacture of industrial and high tech equipment and components. As they continue to strength their finance capabilities in the region, they are seeking an Accounting Supervisor/ Assistant Finance Manager to join their team. The Role Reporting to the Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for leading a team of 2 and overseeing all finance and accounting responsibilities within the organization. You will ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial statements and reports, timely month end and year end closing. You will also present the monthly management reports to the senior management team, be involved in the preparation of quarterly and yearly budget, forecast and planning, liaise with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations as well as tax compliance and GST. Last but not least, you will work closely with the senior management team to provide support in financial analysis, financial modeling, and profitability analysis as well as participate in ad hoc projects involving process and operations improvement. Your Profile As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in both accounting, reporting and analysis within an MNC
- Prior regional exposure and familiarity with intercompany transactions/billing
- Exposure within an inventory based environment
- Prior experience in managing or mentoring staff
