Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Manager, Accounting & Finance, the Accounts Assistant is responsible for the full spectrum of activities in account receivables of the company.
- Ensures that the billings and receipts application processes are in compliance with Accounting Standards, GAAP and SOX;
- Responsible for generating billings related to related companies/non-trade;
- Ensures that billings are posted into the accounting system accurately and timely;
- Ensures that receipts from customers are applied accurately and timely so that the accounts receivables are up-to-date;
- Liaise with credit analyst on unidentified receipts so as to be able to apply them to the correct customer;
- Assist in the month-end closing process;
- Responsible for reconciliation of accounts;
- Prepare GST filing on the output taxes; and
- Involve in ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
- NITEC/ Diploma in Accountancy;
- Min. 1-2 years in the similar capacity;
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and tight deadlines;
- Meticulous, mature and able to demonstrate good problem solving skills;
- Comfortable dealing with both internal and external stakeholders;
- Willing to take challenges and adapt to changes/new ideas.
- Eligible for AWS
- Partial WFH arrangement
