Main Responsibilities:
Able to handle full sets of Accounts (AP, AR ,GL functions, including data entry into the systems)
Recording of incoming payments from customers and outgoing payments to suppliers
Recording and filing cash transactions
Controlling credit and chasing debts
Prepare and ensure proper filing of invoices, delivery orders and credit notes
Monthly recurring invoicing to customers
To maintain proper documentation and filing
Processing petty cash requests and getting approvals before releasing of payment, ensuring petty cash box balance tally with general ledger balance
Monthly Bank reconciliation after receiving Bank statements
Liaise with suppliers and customers
Assist with yearly audit preparation and liaise with auditors for audit
Generate Monthly Financial Statement and reports as required
Prepare GST reports for quarterly e-filing
Prepare yearly GL account schedule for audit
Work closely with various departments on billing processes and follow up on all invoicing matters
Doing monthly costing for customer invoicesEnsure proper records are kept for the costing.
Update on files after customer payments
Requirements:
Diploma/ITE/Commercial Certificate - in Accounting
1 year relevant experience (AP/AR/GL)
Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
