Job Description
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain standard Costing for Products and Services. Analyse and report on variances between actual and standard costs. Monitor and assess production costs, labour, and overhead expenses. Work closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams to gather accurate cost data. Assist in pricing decisions by providing detailed cost analysis. Support month-end and year-end financial close processes, particularly inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) reconciliations. Conduct cost audits and suggest cost-saving opportunities. Maintain accurate inventory valuation and control reports. Provide assistance in certain portions of budget and forecasting models. Any other ad-hoc task assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis Strong knowledge of accounting principles and manufacturing/ production cost structures. Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (eg. SAP) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
