Accounts Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Assistant to support our finance department in managing day-to-day accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with reporting to ensure smooth financial operations.


Key Responsibilities



Perform data entry, maintain and update accounting records. Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers. Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts. Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. Maintain proper filing of financial documents for auditing purposes. Support the finance team in preparing financial reports and analysis. Handle petty cash transactions and expense claims. Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments on financial matters. Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.

* Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
