Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant to join the team
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing invoices and expense claims.
- Resolving all payables-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintaining accounting ledgers and assisting in monthly closing.
- Performing vendor and bank reconciliations.
- Working with various stakeholders to improve AP process, controls & analysis.
- Managing the GL reporting and processing of journals.
- Maintaining fixed assets register.
- Liaising with AR/AP teams on month-end closing activities.
- Liaising with auditors and preparing audit schedules.
Skills required:
- You are familiar with basic accounting principles.
- You have proficiency with computers and bookkeeping software
- You have knowledge of using MYOB accounting software
- You have hands-on experience with MYOB (preferably but not necessary)
- You have the ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
- You have a commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
