Handle monthly closing activities covering GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets and Bank Reconciliation.
Prepare monthly journals and supporting schedule in a timely and accurate manner.
Perform monthly and quarterly analysis for management reporting.
Assist in GST submissions, filing activities and overall tax compliance.
Manage day to day accounts payable.
Ensure internal control policies and procedures are in compliance with Company policies and FRS.
Identify areas to be improved and initiate good accounting control procedures and best practices to improve work efficiency.
Additional ad hoc assignments as required.
Responsible for all stores' yearly gross revenue audit.
In charge of accounts receivables and operations including tidying up of daily cash sheet and outlet reconciliation .
Processing of staff claims/reimbursement.
Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma in Accountancy or Finance
Minimum 2 years of working experience in handling transactions accounting, financial controls and reporting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in fast-paced retail environment is a plus
A team player and meticulous with an eye for details
Ability to meet deadlines
