Assist with aspects of financial accounting records, AR and AP management, and reconciliation (includes posting, verification, payment, offsetting, filling, AR chasers/follow-up, contra)
Ensure timely AR/AP financial reporting for month-end and year-end.
Prepare monthly financial and management reports
Liaise with banks on banking transactions
Manage timely closing process and reconciliations
Ability to develop good practices, policies and procedures to ensure proper internal control for balance sheet/profit & loss
Analyse and provide financial data to management in a timely manner
Handle any other general office administration
Requirements
Diploma in Accounting & Finance or equivalent
At least 3 years of experience in accounting & finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles
Ability to work in a dynamic environment
Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
Hands-on experience in cloud accounting systems such as Xero would be an advantage.
