Account Executive

The role in brief...

The Account Executive, will play a key role managing the relationship between the client and the company. Account Executives are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of client accounts within the company. They will be working with key stakeholders from leading Multi-National Companies, giving you exposure to accounts within different regions of the World. They need to develop effective working relationships with client contacts, and all the key functions that go into helping the company and its clients achieve their objectives. They will get involved with solving problems, attending meetings, drafting internal and external communications, reporting on SLA\xe2\x80\x99s and documenting progress on a variety of projects. This role will have a heavy emphasis on reporting and SLA management in order to ensure adherence to product, project and client requirements on a global scale but you will be able to contribute greatly to the exciting work being done and have the ability to provide valuable input and opinion. Working with:

  • Internal: Account Management team, project managers; creative and technical teams and Finance/accounts
  • External: Client product and project teams; typically focused on supporting larger accounts with the opportunity to lead on smaller accounts
  • Account Executive will report into the Key Account Manager
Responsible for:
  • Building good working relationships with client and company contacts across several company entities around the world.
  • Managing the day-to-day reporting and administration of the client account,
  • including SLA reporting, invoicing, customer support reporting, registration & usage reporting as well as higher level regional r eporting to allow clients to
  • understand the success of their product at a regional or global level
  • Coordinating internal stakeholders and teams to resolve BAU client queries
  • Attending client briefings including MBR & QBR\xe2\x80\x99s and gathering relevant data to support the development of communication strategies, sales strategies and account growth as well as problem solving and dispute resolution
  • Preparing materials for presenting and selling creative work.
  • Supporting the development of creative work by documentin g client feedback and attending creative review meetings.
  • Clearly communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track client account metrics to optimise revenue potential
  • Monitoring project deadlines and budgets, identifying and communicating potential changes that may be required.
  • Monitoring and analysing client and cardholder usage to identify key trends
  • Maintaining accurate records of meetings, decisions and next actions.
  • Work with the Account Director to support strategic goals of company and clients alike
Those who succeed are:
  • 1 - 3 years of account management (100% farming) from financial service industry
  • Pioneering and able to work create and implement their own processes to introduce as a best practice company wide
  • Have a keen interest in the Travel industry and working globally. Previous experience in loyalty or travel would be advantageous but not essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with an eye for data with an analytical side to identify trends in said data
  • Are flexible, work proactively and can adapt in a fast -moving environment
  • Reading and understanding contracts and able to offer a sound legal view during contractual negotiations will be advantageous but not essential
  • Personable and persuasive, and able to work effectively with a variety of different people
  • Strong excel proficiency
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communicators, both verbal and in written
  • Able to manage and support multiple projects and clients
  • Flexible, and able to solve problems
  • Curious about the clients\xe2\x80\x99 business and sector
  • Able to deal positively with setbacks
