Job description

We are seeking an accounts executive who will be responsible for Accounts Receivable functions including additional duties relating to month-end, year-end closing as well as BOFC reporting. The role reports to the Finance Manager in Singapore.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Check and post Customer Service collection
• Preparation of monthly aging report for Customer Service department
• Prepare billing for reimbursement of expenses for intercompanies and third parties
• Ensure accuracy and post all GIRO payment invoices
• Verify and post vendor invoices
• Check and process petty cash claims
• Posting of entries for retail sales and collection against supporting documents
• Prepare landlord monthly gross sales report
• Commission calculation for wholesale and retail
• Maintain/create assets records with proper documentation
• Ensure assets proper documentation are raised for disposal and transfer
• Run monthly assets depreciation
• Prepare Fixed Assets Schedule and perform on-site physical verification
• Prepare and post monthly/yearly provision & recurring journal in SAP
• Prepare and ensure accuracy of Balance Sheet schedules
• Assist in preparing HQ reporting package
• Prepare and maintain rental calculation on straight line basis
• Preparation of quarterly GST filing
• Involve in half-yearly and yearly stock count
• Liaising with external parties (e.g auditors) as and when required

Profile

• Minimum 1-4 years relevant working experience in accounting environment
• Good initiative, meticulous and a good team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP
• Good working knowledge with SAP system

Professional requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Have good SAP knowledge
