General Ledger (GL) Accounting Executive

Key Responsibilities

Manage and execute month-end closing activities, reconciliations, and ensure accurate and timely reporting Ensure financial data complies with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements Maintain proper recordkeeping and gather supporting documentation for audits and reporting Prepare and manage fixed asset entries and related reconciliations Reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across the group Prepare quarterly GST submissions and assist with yearly income tax computations Liaise with external tax agents and auditors, and prepare audit schedules and statutory accounts Address IFRS116-related queries from auditors and the UK finance team Participate in finance-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives Support ad-hoc finance and accounting tasks as required

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience in general ledger accounting or external audit Familiarity with accounting software (e.g.,

NetSuite

preferred) Strong knowledge of accounting standards (e.g.,

IFRS

) and regulatory compliance Meticulous attention to detail, with strong time management and organizational skills Proactive, collaborative team player with excellent communication skills * Prior experience in external audit (2-4 years) will be an added advantage
