We are looking for an experienced

Accounts Payable Executive

to oversee and manage the agency's accounts payable function. This role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant payments to production partners, suppliers, and vendors. You will be responsible for AP processes, maintaining vendor relationships, and driving continuous improvements in line with WPP's financial policies and controls.


What you'll do



Accounts Payable Operations



Oversea the end-to-end AP processes including invoice and expense claims verification, coding, approvals, and payment execution. Monitor AP aging reports, resolve discrepancies, and manage payment schedules effectively

Vendor & Stakeholder Management



Act as the primary point of contact for production houses and third-party vendors. Collaborate with internal teams (Shared Service Centre, Account Management, Creative, Operations etc.) to ensure smooth vendor cost processing and payments. Proactively resolve billing queries and maintain positive vendor relationships.

Financial Processing & Reporting



Handle monthly judgemental journals and quarterly reporting requirements Manage cost allocation schedules for intercompany recharging Support quarterly GST reporting and tax compliance activities Create and maintain client setup in system

Compliance & Controls



Ensure compliance with

WPP finance policies, internal controls, SOX requirements and local tax regulations

Support month-end and year-end closing activities including benefit-in-kind schedules and reconciliation Maintain proper documentation to support internal and external audits.

What you'll need



Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5 years of accounts payable experience, ideally within an

advertising, creative, or professional services environment

. Experience working within

multinational groups or agency networks (e.g., WPP)

is advantageous. Solid knowledge of AP systems/ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Maconomy). Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a commitment to integrity.
