The Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for full AR resident billing function for multiple aged care facilities including monthly billing, receipting, direct debit, outstanding reports. This position needs to ensure the accurate invoicing, timely collection, and accurate reconciliation of resident accounts.

Qualifications:

  • Previous accounts receivable experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise work according to strict timeframes.
  • Highly motivated individual with drive and initiative.
  • Intermediate computer literacy (MS Office – Word & Excel)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data processing.
Good decision making and problem-solving skills

:
  • Full function of resident billing for multiple aged care facilities.
  • Process monthly billing and direct debits.
  • Receipt of resident fees and RAD payments.
  • Generate weekly RAD outstanding reports and monthly aged debtor trail balance
  • Investigate and identify root causes of overdue RAD / debtor, ensure clear notes are recorded in system and reports.
  • Process third party invoices (e.g.: DVA, Blue Care etc.)
  • Enter Department of Human Services (DHS) letters into Resident Select and reconcile any refunds issued by the department
  • Carry out month end processes and closing off bank receipts.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks if needed.
