Our facility in Singapore has key functions in research and development, procurement, sales and finance for our Lighting and Detection business lines, in addition to key functions related to our Optics Manufacturing capabilities.

This site produces optical lenses such as spherical, aspherical and plano optics, with large machine shop capabilities and expertise in optical coating and assembly. Our photonic products and solutions serve a wide range of markets and applications in the areas of medicine, life science, industrial manufacturing, defense, and aerospace, as well as research and development.

We are presently seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor that will be integral in buildout and shaping the Accounts Receivable Team. As such, the Accounts Receivable Supervisor must be proficient in all aspects of the Accounts Receivable Specialist roles and responsibilities but not limited to responsibilities listed in the job description.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage SAP S4 Central Finance Credit Management Process and collaborate with global credit management team;
• Run D&B reports and assemble credit file including credit limits for new customers, and collaborate with global Accounts Receivable team for shared Business Partners;
• Provide analysis and interpretation of the customers\xe2\x80\x99 financial status for proper evaluation of risk and the establishment of proper credit limits;
• Prepare recommendations and make credit approval decisions on new accounts;
• Periodic review of all current customer credit worthiness and recommend changes;
• Prepare and submit Accounts Receivable Aging Report complete with remarks on overdue receivables;
• Support treasury in the daily collection forecast and monitor progress of collections versus target;
• Perform monthly account reconciliations;
• Process Improvement:
• Identify and track and resolve recurring billing problems and issues
• Recommend process improvements for billing and collections activities
• Move to fully paperless operation
• Research and implement available system capability in order perform duties with greater efficiency
• Ability and gumption to roll up sleeves and perform any and all jog duties of Accounts Receivable Specialists as needed;
• Train and mentor Accounts Receivable Specialists;
• Support global Accounts Receivable needs.

Requirements:

• Degree and/or Diploma in Accountancy and/or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable role
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
• Proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with SAP S4Hana preferred
• Experience in a Shared Services setting preferred
• Capable of performing account research
• Familiar and conversant with internal control processes and corporate governance
• Experience with government contracts and billings
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional business partnership
• Team-player with strong interpersonal skills
