Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Engineering

Prepare and review ACMV system designs, calculations, and drawings (HVAC layouts, ducting, chilled water, and ventilation systems). Select suitable equipment (chillers, AHUs, FCUs, exhaust fans, cooling towers, etc.) based on design requirements. Ensure compliance with local codes, green building standards, and energy efficiency guidelines. Coordinate with architects, structural, and M&E consultants to ensure integrated system design.

2. Project Coordination

Plan and schedule ACMV works to align with the overall project timeline. Supervise site installation, ensuring work quality and adherence to design and safety requirements. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues. Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.

3. Testing & Commissioning

Oversee system testing and balancing of air and chilled water systems. Conduct commissioning procedures and prepare reports/documentation. Troubleshoot and rectify defects during testing or operation phases.

4. Documentation & Compliance

Prepare engineering documents: design drawings, material submissions, method statements, and as-built drawings. Ensure all ACMV systems meet statutory requirements (e.g., BCA, NEA) Maintain proper project documentation and records for audit and handover.

5. Maintenance & Support

Support maintenance teams in diagnosing system faults and recommending solutions.

Job Requirements

Possess min Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Building Services/ Environmental Engineering Possess min Diploma in Mechanical or Specialist Diploma in Building Service or Diploma in Facility Management * Preferably with 1- 2 years related experience, those without working experience can be considered
