Munich Re Life and Health 2 Regional Structured Solutions team, part of Munich Re the world’s largest reinsurer, is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic professional who is interested in technical Actuarial work and enjoys the challenge of working in multiple markets and being part of a diverse team.
The role will focus on non-traditional reinsurance solutions (financial reinsurance) across the Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa regions. Your job This position will report to the Head of Structured Solutions, LH2 Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa and will be based in Singapore.

• In charge / support of the quarterly and annual Structured Solutions reporting process (i.e. Solvency II Reporting, local Statutory Reporting, Monitoring, etc.) and consistently seek improvements.
• Liaise with valuation teams, accounting teams and Structured Solutions local teams for ongoing reporting needs, and streamlining of reporting requirements.
• Build, maintain and enhance the reporting infrastructure, drive automation.
• Perform regular experience monitoring and performance analysis of LH2 Structured Solution transactions.
• Maintain and ensure that the guidelines, standards, templates and frameworks for the regional and local Structured Solutions teams are kept up to date and with appropriate documentation.
• Support deal structuring, pricing, risk analysis, submission for approval and execution when required.
• Support other regular reporting or ad-hoc projects and tasks when required.

Your profile

• Bachelor degree (or above) in actuarial science, statistics or finance with 1-2 years of working experience
• Excellent technical and analytical skills, logical and concise in approach and demonstrate attention to detail
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Self-motivated and able to work within a team environment, outcome focused
• Experience in Power BI languages, MS Excel VBA, SQL is key
• Experience in data processing, database structuring and modelling is key
• Experience in reinsurance is an advantage
• Experience in Structured Solutions transactions is an advantage
