Our client has a strong life Insurance brand with established presence in the region and long standing leadership in place. An fantastic opportunity for a senior manager to join their actuarial audit team has opened up in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
Key Responsibilities
Leading and supporting the planning and execution of actuarial audits within the life insurance domain. This includes reviewing actuarial models, assumptions, valuation methodologies and reserving practices to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Evaluate the effectiveness of actuarial risk controls and governance frameworks, identifying areas for enhancement to strengthen actuarial accuracy and financial reporting integrity. Ensure close collaboration with actuarial teams, finance, risk and compliance functions.
Key Skills
Strong qualifications preferably in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or a related discipline. Strong track record in actuarial audit, actuarial functions or actuarial consulting within the life insurance industry. Hands on modelling experience Experience using data analytics tools in an Internal Audit context
