Together with about 2,900 employees, RMG brings more than 47 years of trusted healthcare expertise and care to over 2.8 million patients annually across our network as their trusted partner for health.Objective of InternshipThe aim of this program is to provide a comprehensive enrichment experience for interns to have an overview of the actuarial work in Health Insurance Industry. During this program, interns will have the opportunity to participate in actuarial related work and data analytics work in Raffles Health Insurance. The interns will be given the exposure to understand the medical related data, ie socioeconomic data of patient, claims data and medical services utilization data along with healthcare trending data. With the guidance, they are required to organize, present and analyse the data and present key stakeholders the business insight. They will also support in product pricing and valuation reporting in Actuarial department. We hope that at the end of this program, they will have a better understanding of the healthcare and health insurance industry.Reporting- Designing and enabling profitability forecasting by product framework- Enhancing in-house reserving tool- Redefining existing actuarial framework and toolset- Assist in streamlining and developing automated solutions for financial reporting, with understanding of the various Actuarial and Finance processesPricing- Working with pricing team members to enhance the functionality of pricing model-Streamline the controls and checking-Prepare user requirements, test plans and perform UAT.- Help in various competitor analysis and market study in health insurance industryQualifications- Students in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related disciplines that possesses an analytical and quantitative component- Experience in product lines such as life product or health product will be an advantage.- Strong analytical skills, attention to details, resourceful and team player.\xe2\x80\x93 Self-motivated and well-organised individual to be able to manage full product development and approval cycle independently with support from other teamsApplication InstructionsPlease apply for this position by submitting your text CV using InternSG.
