  • Digital skills modules (digital communication - leveraging social media and digital tools/platforms to craft impactful messages, digital collaboration, data storytelling, personal branding) and/or
  • Communication modules (oral presentation, teamwork and effective interpersonal communication, oral and written communication for work, report writing, proposal writing); and/or
  • Modules related to current affairs and issues of enduring interest, for the application of skills such as information literacy, critical reasoning, argumentation and persuasion skills; understanding issues and perspectives, design thinking, analysis and presentation of an informed point of view orally and in writing
What we are looking forRequirements:-Relevant qualification in English Language/Applied Linguistics/Mass Communication/Communication Studies/Arts and Social Sciences.Preference will be given to those with relevant qualifications in Teaching or Education and teaching/training experience especially at the tertiary level.Proficiency in the use of social media and digital tools for teaching would be desirable.Applicants who require work passes need not apply for this position.Successful candidate will be offered contract (renewable) on a semestral basis.Closing date: 20 December 2024If you are shortlisted for the position(s), you should hear from us within 30 days of the closing date of the advertisement.About Singapore Polytechnic:As Singapore's first polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic (SP) prides ourselves in providing the best learning experience for our students in pre-employment and continuing adult education.
