Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical/practicum sessions either in-person or via online platforms.
Conduct classes one to two weekday evenings per week (7:00 PM - 10:00 PM) OR Saturdays (before 6:00 PM) within the specified teaching period.
Facilitate synchronous lectures, tutorials and practical sessions, as well as asynchronous e-learning and self-directed learning, by preparing lesson materials, recording lectures, and creating online assessments.
Design, develop, and review subject content, including setting and marking of assessments and ensuring timely entry of assessment results.
Provide academic guidance and support to students related to the subject matter.
Participate in subject review discussions with the designated Subject Leader at the end of the semester.
[What we are looking for]
Qualification and relevant expertise in at least one of the subject areas listed above.
Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in the veterinary sector, with hands-on involvement in clinical practice, animal rehabilitation, nutrition, or wellness care.
Proficient in handling and delivering veterinary care to animals, particularly companion animals and/or exotic species.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine interest in mentoring and engaging adult learners.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate learning, with experience in adult education, training delivery, or instructional design for workshops or courses considered an advantage.
* Experience in developing e-learning materials or using digital tools to support learning will be an added benefit.
