Work you\'ll do

Deloitte Turnaround & Restructuring Services provides in-depth business and financial advisory services to senior and c-suite management, financiers and investors in the areas of turnaround, restructuring and business recovery.

Our main areas of expertise include debt advisory, performance improvement, portfolio advisory, and business recovery services such as scheme administrations, judicial management, receivership and liquidation.

We are looking for a suitably qualified individual to be a part of our team. Your roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Receipts and Payments

  • Maintaining the cashbook of engagements\' bank accounts and performing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting in payment to be made by the respective engagements through cheque payments/TT forms, disbursement forms, online banking platform and payment requisition via Minlaw E-services.
  • Liaising with the bank on all banking related matters.
  • Downloading of OR statement of account from Minlaw E-services.
  • Maintaining the filling of hardcopies/softcopies of receipts & payments, bank statements and remittance advices.
  • Working with engagement team to prepare both the Provisional Liquidator and the Liquidator\'s account of receipts and payments for periodical lodgement with ACRA, OR and IRAS as required under Companies Act and IRDA.
  • Preparing payment to be made to third party liquidator fee and oath fee through disbursement form.
Statutory Filing
  • Filing of Liquidator\'s account using ACRA Bizfile and Minlaw E-Services.
  • Filing of resolutions/minutes, change of registered office address, change of directors/secretary, for clients\' companies that are placed under winding up.
  • Filing of appointment/cessation of liquidators, receivers/receivers & managers and judicial managers.
  • Filing of statement of affairs and dissolution of companies.
  • Extract bizfile documents (e.g. Statement of Affairs, others documents relates to insolvency).
  • Filing of documents relating to OR via Minlaw E-services.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirement.
  • Maintaining and updating of the ACRA Bizfile Registered Filing Agent (RFA) Client List.
  • Ensure the renewal of Qualified Individuals and Registered Filing Agent with ACRA before expiry.
  • Maintaining a list of each Liquidator\'s information in the network drive.
  • Liaising with Notary Public for commissioning of statutory declarations and affidavits.
  • Maintaining bizfile payment records and preparing disbursement for payment to Bank card before due date.
  • Liaising with ACRA officer on other matters related to Bizfile technical issues.
  • Liaising with OR officer on matters related to Minlaw E-services technical issues.
Questnet
  • Maintaining a list of authorised personnel to access Questnet for company searches.
  • Liaising with Credit personnel for proforma invoice for top up of points.
IRAS

Assisting in e-filing of GST return, GST cancellation, corporate tax return, AEOI, CRS return and FATCA return. Retrieving of notices/letters from Mytaxportal.

Other admin support
  • Maintaining and updating the Bankers\' Guarantee listing.
  • Preparing disbursement form for BG commission charges.
  • Maintaining and updating the list of engagements in INSOL1.
  • Maintaining the hardcopies of original indemnities and updating the list of original indemnities.
  • Update the team of any changes on ACRA Bizfile.
  • Standing in as cover for secretary in preparing and posting of invoices and sending out of office notices when secretary is on leave.
  • Updating of seat layout.
  • Maintaining the claims for the filing charges under ACRA Bizfile/Minlaw.

Requirements
  • Minimum diploma with relevant clerical qualifications or equivalent.
  • 4 years of relevant experience in clerical support will be desirable.
  • Independent, self-driven and proactive.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • IT Savvy. Good working knowledge of MS office applications and SAP.
  • An eye for detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
