The incumbent would be required to provide a wide spectrum of administrative support for the Asia-Pacific Division of GenScript
General office administration and management, e.g. requisitions of office/pantry supplies, servicing of office equipment, answer/screen/ forward incoming phone calls
Function as the receptionist of the APAC office and protein production laboratory
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/ deliveries
Maintaining office security by following required safety procedures and controlling access via Microsoft Forms
Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning and security services, including sourcing & engaging cleaning service companies, sourcing & procuring pantry appliances, sourcing & confirming office supplies
Order front office supplies, and keep updated records of the procurement items
Preparing meeting & conference rooms when required
Arrange and administrate company activities and benefits such as birthday gifts and holiday gifts
Any other projects and adhoc duties that may be assigned
Qualifications
More than 1 year of work experience in Admin & Receptionist is preferred
Customer service attitude and ability to be proactive whenever necessary
Solid interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to details
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (as this role works closely with internal customers in China)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Self-driven individual and able to work independently
