Our client, one of the biggest contractors in Asia and the world and a pioneer in built and construction environment in Singapore, is looking for a QAQC Engineer for their high-rise redevelopment project in Central Business District, Singapore Responsibilities:
  • Office Administration
    • Oversees daily administrative functions which include office space and layout, office leases, company car leases, office maintenance and G&A payments.
    • Formulates procedures and policies to ensure that office resources and equipment are correctly utilized.
    • Reviews reports to analyse projections of budgeted G&A expenses against final totals, and suggests methods of improving the planning process as appropriate.
    • Checks payment and journal vouchers.
  • Project Administration
    • Analyses contract and legal conditions at tender stage for the purpose of insurance arrangements.
    • Reviews construction project costings pertaining to administration areas.
    • Sources, reviews, purchases and maintains insurance for projects.
    • Obtains HQ\xe2\x80\x99s approval on Bank Guarantees, maintains the documents and prepares reporting for HQ.
    • Maintains Contract Documents, LOA and other contractual documents properly.
  • Document Storage
    • Supervises the control of documents stored in external storages, including daily in/out and disposal.
    • Supervises the management of document retention policies.
    • Reporting to HQ
    • Prepares reports to HQ on memberships and donations
    • Prepares miscellaneous reports to HQ on Business Continuity Plans and lease reports
  • Company Secretary
    • Coordinates with appointed secretary company to file and keeps tracks of Resolution of the Board of Directors.
    • Arranges Annual General Meetings and Board Meetings.
    • Arranges statutory filings for Singapore Office.
  • Public Relations
    • Supports Corporate Social Responsibility Programmes.
    • Supports company functions such as Ground breaking Ceremony
    • Assists in drafting in-house articles on company-related news and events.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or Diploma in Business or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory experience in managing a team.
  • Experience in the construction industry will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local statutory regulations and requirements related to company registration.
